I am still learning my smartphone and was wondering what map/navigation app tool would be the best for me. Currently I am using Waze.
I am...shall we say "geographically challenged". I am landmark/sight driven to find my way.
happy

Waze a little. Mostly "maps", the Iphone version. It works pretty well.

If Im driving out of state, use my regular GPS and old school atlas or map..

Cheers to future travels!

Ah, yea...but those of you who said drive until you get tired and turn around, or follow your nose are Men. And in my personal experience, most men are born with internal navigation. happy
I, however have NO internal navigation whatsoever, so I would get lost in a round room looking for the corner. what
I NEED Syrie, or Syrie-like gadgets to TELL ME where I'm goin bigsmile laugh
..that...or a partner in the passenger seat. And, no i don't mind't all if he's telling me where to go in THAT kind of scenario  biggrin

Rofl.. I recently had a new address to find for work I have lived here for over 20 years. if I would have followed my trucks navigation system I would have been driving straight through a river.. I was like really...I have used Google maps on my phone a bit but that is more of a pain in the butt...

When someone gives me directions please give me landmarks with it... Not the 6 houses past yellow fire hydrant eitherfrustrated

I use the lesser spotted, driving brain from studying maps and roadsigns.
I wonder how many of the pampered drivers these days could get by with sheets of paper and big metal signs at the side of the roads
