Well, I'm not asking them to.There are very valid reasons why some cannot put photos of them selves on any web site or any social media for that fact.

Well a couple of the selfies look grim because they are grainy and poorly lit. You can't really tell what you are doing in the one photo but it is suggestive because your torso is bare. Not a good move on a dating site.

For a relatively nice looking man your lead shot is mainly distracting because of the background. Facial hair is statistically not in your favor but if the moustache fills in a little it might help your appearance. The skimpy chin beard only accents the point of your lower face pulling eye line away from your otherwise symmetrical face and normal proportioned features and what could be a kissable mouth for a peer age lady. It does not help your jawline. You are blessed with good skin but cursed with very fair coloring that fall colors would compliment while white washes you out. You also have to be careful not to get burned out by lighting or be too flushed by heat or cold or you are going to come off too pink.

The real light you seem to be keeping under the bushel is you have remarkable color in your eyes and most likely maybe a great smile with natural dimples. This main photo seems like you are just a breath away from irritated or mad so it is not engaging. With three seconds to connect with a photo you want to make friendly eye contact and give someone a welcome sign. This can be tough, especially if you are naturally shy or serene but play around taking a roll of pictures doing things you enjoy and you will find the pictures tell a thousand words and your in box fills up.

But you actually had a smile with your friend. Use that photo enlarged and cropped to show only you. You are not trying to get your friend a date and it scares women if they think you have your buds hanging around in your personal life too much.
