It's been like this from the very first time the first man and woman disobeyed God.

There are good men and there are also evil men.

There are people who want to believe and be saved, and there are people who also don't care if one is saved or not.

There are people who loves to pray for miracles to happen, and there are also people who want to stop miracles from happening.

There are people who seek JESUS' love, and there are people who don't want to hear that name (JESUS) mentioned.

There are people who hold righteousness in unrighteousness, and there are people who would not hold righteousness in unrighteousness.

There are people who love to do good and are friends of progress, and there are people who loves doing evil and are enemies of progress.

There are people who cries daily "LORD! I want more of YOU," and there are also people who would go extra miles just to stop people from having fellowship with the ALMIGHTY.

John 11:47-52 KJV

47. Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles.
48. If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.
49. And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, Ye know nothing at all,
50. Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.
51. And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;

One question I have never been able to satisfactorily analyze in my mind is " why are some people content with a life that has no place for God?"

He is our creator (in other words, without HIM, we would not exist or live)...our provider (meaning that without HIM, we can have nothing, including the oxygen that keeps us breathing)...our judge (that means we must stand before HIS Judgment seat and be bound by HIS pronouncements at the end of life).


Why then is it so difficult for humans to seek the LORD GOD ALMIGHTY and to live by HIS word/instructions????

The above Bible verse explained it better.
The reason is because man has the Adamic nature. And it continues from generation to generation. For that nature to change, man have to be regenerated, be transformed, and be born into the nature of GOD (born again). Without being born again, man cannot please GOD.

Even some that are born again are yet struggling with a life of holiness because they have not been able to subdue the flesh. And the devil fights them through that to make sure he brings them to the grave.

Galatian 5:16-18 KJV

16. This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
17. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.
18. But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

Romans 8:8 KJV
So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

Apostle Paul knew very well that despite his level of Faith and Spiritual life that flesh contends with the Spirit. He knew the race he was into and he made a decision to subdue the flesh by making this known to all.

Apostle Paul said "But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when i have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway." (1 Corinthians 9:27).
