Michele Bachmann: Clinton Foundation is "An International Money Laundering Ring" The Clinton Foundation has come under scrutiny over the past few months with the scandal concerning Hillary Clinton's personal email server being used for State Department business. This week, Minnesota Representative Michele Bachmann said the Clinton Foundation was nothing more than an international money laundering ring. In speaking with Newsmax TV, Bachmann said, "This is the most transparent family in the United States, right? Recently published stories say the Clinton Foundation only gets about 10% of its donations into the hands of those who need it. The newest 'dodge' they are trying to sell is that they simply forward big donations directly to charities in the countries being helped. So no one from the Clinton groups actually feed a kid or dig the well, they just cut the cheque. Ok let's look at that. IF the Clintons are merely a conduit, and are zipping these funds out the door to those NGO's feeding and saving people, why are the expenses for the organization so high?
Seems to me Bill-ary and Chelsea could be just as useful posting a list of charities to give to on their website, and have the funds go directly to them. Instead of using their station in life to say "Give money to charity." it seems donations are instead being used to fund their lifestyle of private jets, lavish parties, and expensive speaking engagements. Brilliant if you are the one getting the benefits, but it sucks if you are a starving African kid waiting for your food package from Feed the Children. Ah well, maybe there's enough leftover caviar for the kids at the refugee camp today. Some smoked salmon canapes for the AIDS patients, and a nice brie and pear on brioche for the terminal ebola patients. Eat up everyone! |
