Topic: What bakery item would you like to see at a Farmers Market, | |
---|---|
After last weeks fiasco that came out on the good end, Rain has kept the Captain docked but today's Market yielded a good recovery on the week (well, better than nothing anyway, lol). A few adjustments and I'll be maximizing my efforts hopefully sooner than later. If you were walking through a Farmers Market, what bakery product could you see and not resist? Lasagana... |

when i go out to eat... i look for one of two things...
something different or new... or something familiar and nostalgic...close to home... now i see a lot of fusion foods, and yuppies like trying out these new trends as well ... either which way...make it taste good and look good, people will keep coming back! i like the show "cupcake wars"...they play with a lot of different food items and have interesting mixes... try watching some videos over in youtube. might give you great ideas specialty items are also nice to have around...you might discover a regular clientele through this...i often ask for the availability of sugar-free baked goods, as relatives of mine have the sweet tooth but have diabetes and ADHD... |

That's why I do the oatmeal cookies, especially the Chocolate chip, they are just not your common store bought cookies and even if I say so my self, mine are extra melt in your mouth delicious. Your absolutely right though, something unique you just can't get anywhere, that's what I want to offer to get the walker by's attention |

I am a fiend for the simple Lemon Bars and I happened across an absolutely YUMMY one in Michigan on a trip. It had the most flaky crust and creamy lemon. The guy at the stand kept saying "it's a secret ingredient" I didn't really wanna know after he said it the second time, so I didn't ask again.
There was some other ingredient mixed with the powdered sugar, but I still can't figure it out. I thought it was a dash of cinnamon, but it wasn't because the next time I tried making a batch, I added a dash of cinnamon to a few bars and it just didn't taste right. IDK |
