The Sabbath day is a 24 hour period starting at sundown one day and ending sundown the next day. The only Sabbath day observed like this is Friday evening to Saturday evening. Maybe I misread you.are not all the High Sabbaths also the same as the 7th day Sabbath? All Sabbaths are a 24 hr period. Sundown to Sundown. Weekly Sabbaths Friday evening to Saturday evening. The "high Sabbaths" or holy days are also a 24 hr period. Sundown to sundown on whatever day they happen to be. |

I've often thought about this subject.
My conclusion is either Jesus died on a Thursday and his Spirit was re-instated back into his body on 'the old first-day of the week,' Sunday... Or, he died Friday and his Soul was returned to his body on Monday, 'the new first-day of the week.' ****************************************** In keeping with the prophesy of Jonah who was in the belly of the Whale for three days and three nights, so to would Jesus be in the belly of the Earth. he did in fact die for our sins. Dude does that logically even make sense? Everyone is accountable for their own sins & you're saying Jesus can die & come back to life as he pleases? No disrespect & i am a believer of Jesus too yet i don't agree with those And their saying: "We killed the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, Messenger of God." They did not kill him and they did not crucify him, but it was made to seem so to them. Those who argue about him are in doubt about it. They have no real knowledge of it, just conjecture. Oct 1 used to be new years, now it is April 1.
George Washington used to keep new years as April 1. People who are so stubborn as to actually obey G-d and keep his commandments keep April 1 as new years. Ark landing = Jesus/Yeshua rising from the dead. Ark---> Boat landed but water is not all the way down yet...however...everyone knew that it was going to be ok... Jesus/Yeshua resurrection ---> war with evil is not over yet... but it will be ok in the long run. |
