yes it was taught in great detail. I am glad that I had the chance to
learn something ahead so that I wouldn't be a dad at 17!

My elementary school had sex education.

I know it is off the sex ed. topic but my elementary school also had a fully equipped dentist office on site . And if your parents signed that release form( which they all did) that guy had free range to do whatever he wanted to.

The nurse would come to the class and hand your teacher a paper with the name . Everyone was quiet, hoping your name was not called out. When it was ( about 4 times a year), it was like a silent death march to the dentist office.

No Novocain was used while drilling. And he hit the nerves.. often. It was brutal. But he did do good work.

NYC public school system... what a experience !! Lol

they would just lock us boys and girls in the classroom... put on a loop p**** tape.... toss a box of condoms in the middle of the room.... and walk out of the room... saying you guys are smart.. you'll figure it out..lol

A video was shown, during computer class...showing a cross section of internal male and female anatomy... didnt last for more than 10 minutes
