thats awesome, probably has no chance tho. seems like everyone is already crowning hillary despite the daily scandals that keep coming out. carson is good tho but i think i would rather someone more pro 2nd amendment. this world is getting more dangerous by the day, and i believe he said "people who live in large cities should not be able to own semi automatic weapons" which i definitely do not agree with.

i like carson, but for him to say people in large cities "have no right to own semi automatic weapons" is just ridiculous. were moving closer and closer to tyranny in this country, and he wants to take away semi autos from law abiding citizens just because they live in a city? no chance i would vote for him after he said that. shame too because other than that i like him.

Yep, that is my ONLY issue with the man. Promoting - The anti- gun propaganda , with the 'city theory' that ONLY backwoods, uneducated, hunters have or need or want guns.

Well if we dispute that, & people will, ... because it is a LIE, then fasten your seat belts for the infamous...
" You must be raciest issue ".
A very convenient candidate at a very convenient- turbulent time... think

Dr. Ben Carson has announced that he is running for president of these United States, joining a growing list of Republicans who are seeking the Oval Office of the White House in 2016. Carson, a well-known neurosurgeon, made his statement of intent on WKRC radio in Ohio. Specifically, he said, "I'm willing to be part of the equation and therefore, I'm announcing my candidacy for president of the United States. He also was on WPEC in Florida and made the statement that he will be a part of the 2016 presidential race, according to a Huffington Post report on Sunday evening.

The extremely conservative Dr. Carson will be speaking more about his presidential run at an event in his hometown. Carson is from Detroit, Michigan. There was strong speculation that Carson may run after he made a highly-publicized move in 2014. He revealed much about his plans for the nation in a 40-minute advertisement of sorts.

In that presentation, Carson offered insight about his ambitions and his background. Following that broadcast, CNN did a poll in 2014 regarding potential Republican presidential candidates. In that poll, which was conducted last December, Carson came in second only to former Massachusetts governor and 2012 GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

Since that time, other persons have announced their candidacy and have changed the poll numbers. Since last December, Carson "as well as Romney" have fallen on the list of potential candidates. Other persons who have officially announced a presidential run on the GOP's side are Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky, Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, and Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida. Mike Huckabee who is the former governor of Arkansas has shown interest but has not formally announced an intent to run. According to a Huffington Post poll of the right-leaning candidates, Paul is currently the favorite in a matchup with Rubio who comes in second and then Cruz in third place.

Besides being a doctor from Detroit, 63-year-old Carson is a graduate of Yale University, according to USA Today. He has a degree in psychology as well as a medical degree from the University of Michigan. He taught pediatric neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Among his greatest honors to day, he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2008. That honor was bestowed on Carson by former President George W. Bush.

yepp exactly, its a shame too cause other than that i like him. the 2nd amendment is supposed to be inalienable, that mean impossible to take away or give up. and it "shall not be infringed" but yet theres a whole bunch of misdemeanor offenses that cause you to lose your gun rights FOREVER under federal law, and most of these arent even violent misdemeanors. the more gun grabbers we put in office the faster tyranny will come, its been shown throughout history it always does. husband and wife get in arguement, cops are called misdemeanor domestic violence, there goes your gun rights forever. 1 DUI with high blood alcohol misdemeanor 1 there goes your gun rights forever. theres so many ways to lose your 2nd amendment rights its ridiculous for something that is supposed to be inalienable and not to be infringed. any law of gun control is unconstitutional IMO.

ill be voting for rand, we need more of a libertarian based candidate or its just going to be more of the same. fake politicians with fake promises. u can fit all obamas truths on a sticky note but you would need to write a novel to cover his lies. we dont need any more of that. u can say what u want about rand paul, but he believes in freedom and changing the way washington operates, hes got my vote.

Technically - No state can claim the White House, our for fathers were against that & for good reasons.
Of course the Obama administration wants the District of Colombia to be a state... so far we have been successful fighting it.

Actually, he said the announcement is coming tomorrow. I like the guy, but he does not have the experience needed to be President. He does not have the executive or military experience. He is an amazing man, but not who we need in the White House.

I have a problem with him claiming homosexuals are pedophiles and no different then NAMBLA. Although I do agree with him on his stance as Marijuana as a serious gateway drug and it should not be made legal.

If Rand Paul ever became President we would have another 9/11 all over again and it would be bigger and more devastating and our ability to respond to the attack would be crippled since he like his Loon father wants to get rid of all over seas military basis and cut our military back. He is a F'ing idiot.

We don't need another god damn half term Senator in the White House. The one we have now has damaged this nation almost beyond repair and another one will be the final nail in the coffin.
