i also wonder about that at times....& the fact is it's quite difficult being 100% straight in this career

Cite your source please. I know many cops that never had an issue being straight.

i wasn't implying that it's impossible to be straight as a cop in the U.S....however it is a lil tricky when it comes to a lil higher up in the chain of command....not neccessarily rookies & the likes.....there's a lot that goes on that isn't spilt out to the media ect

In fact that is how my parents met. My step dad (1st to use the laser gun in the area btw) gave my mom a speeding ticket (I call her Leadfoot McGee). She saw him at church a few weeks later. She said hey you gave me a ticket. He said hey you deserved a ticket.

Sorry but it sounds like assumptions are being made without knowing. There are corrupt people in all professions (I bet even yours) does that make them all bad? What about the military. There are a few bad eggs but many good ones serve our country.
