Proud of my kids! I can't work, I can't drive, play with my kids like i want, stand or walk for long periods. My kids are missing out on festivals and fun time. They don't cry or throw fits. They just say that's okay mama. That's at ages 4 and 5. I swear I'm gonna make it up to them!

Proud of my kids! I can't work, I can't drive, play with my kids like i want, stand or walk for long periods. My kids are missing out on festivals and fun time. They don't cry or throw fits. I know I'm a 'newbie' to your life story but this just touched my heart so deeply; you've gotta know that your verbal communication with your little ones is such a strong bond that goes above and beyond the ability to get up and GO PLACES & DO THINGS with them {not knowing the what or why of your heath condition} they have your undivided attention! And reading/coloring/doing crafty things/playing dolls - anything to do with fine motor skills is just such a blessing at that age! Especially the reading; allowing them to read to you and you to them; those great Aesop fables from my older sisters at that very age of your little ones kept me wanting more! Oh, dear young mother...you have the world at your finger tips and through your verbal communication; your little ones don't lack anything else! Trust that - U ROCK! |

I had surgery last week that was supposed to be pretty routine. I didn't do good with anesthesia And apparently i fought them when they put me on a vent. My lip was busted, face bruised, and my jaw was out of joint. On top of the my surgeon caused an injury and didn't catch it. It caused me to go back to hospital I was in ICU with bad infection an fever induced seizure. Which now has me not safe to drive until I see a doctor. Been staying with my parents feeling like a burden and my kids are stuck with me. They've been so good even though I see disappointed looks on their face. |

TY, for your heartfelt answer; even though you didn't need to share...it was nice to know the event that put you where you are! But please don't mistake your parents concerned looks for 'disappointment'! Some times we humans read an emotional reaction into another facial look that just wasn't what they were thinking!
My pops always told me - 'your resting face looks like you're pissed at the world'  Well I was deep in thought dear dad and now I'm in DEEP THOUGHTS ABOUT YOUR CONSTANT INTERRUPTIONS -  {{hugs}} and I'll add you to my list of daily prayers & meditations! |
