this topic reminds me of the song more than words.
when my first son was little I would put that song on repeat and dance him around and around the kitchen

at his wedding it is the song he played for his mom and me dance

Aww, that's so sweet!!!

The more I live on Earth (the only planet for humans) the more I realize how devalued saying "i love you" is and the weight those words carry. I think they've trended and said out of false pretenses so much their meaning is kind of empty.

This is why I always say, "I wanna phuck you sweetly". That's devotion.

Grr...well I could work with that.

True love goes balls deep.

I wouldn't say it is always words that are said to much ... sometimes they have not been said at all and they have proven them self not so good ... and then there are many versions of love ... sometimes can not say enough an can be or have to be spoken ... because you can't always show them ... and that's in the versions of love and what it can mean ...

I realize how devalued saying "i love you" is and the weight those words carry.

Words have no weight at all without the promise or threat of action to back it up/prove it.

Unfortunately now we have things like the "five love languages," which means there may actually be behavior backing it up but it's so individualized you might not be able to realize what it is without a translator.

Its empty if the wrong person is saying it. To me the word is still magical.
