Oath Keepers Rally in Oregon to Prevent 139-Year-Old Gold Mines from Being Seized by BLM

Oath Keepers from around the country have begun to set up camp in the Galice Mining District near Merlin, OR in preparation for what could become a standoff between local miners and the Bureau of Land Management after BLM officials ordered the miners to evacuate the premises by April 25.

gotta love how people in charge of "land management" need body armor and fully automatic rifles. this is ****ing ridiculous. BLM should be dissolved with all the other alphabet agencies we DONT need!

if this isnt tyranny, what is? i see a congressman is putting together a bill that would disarm the BLM and the IRS. IMO it should have been done a long time ago, these guys dont need military weapons to manage land or taxes. its about time people start standing up for themselves.

wow if this isnt out of control government, what is? where does it end? as citizens where do we draw the line? i also saw the USDA has purchased sub machine guns, while theyre disarming the people all these government agencies are being armed to the teeth, for what purpose?

there can only be 1 purpose... they take our guns away, and give all of their agencies weapons... what does that say?

times are scary indeed. most people think only felons cant own guns, but theres a whole bunch of misdemeanor charges now that strip your 2nd amendment for life. the only way to get them back is to pay a couple thousand dollars, wait 4 years for your case to be heard, and maybe if your lucky you will get them back via a governor pardon. way i see it is once youve served your sentence, you should have ALL of your rights back. if they deem you safe enough to be out of jail and back on the street then that should mean you should be able to exercise your 2nd amendment. people on the left need to understand a few words as in "shall" "not" "be" and last but not least "infringed"... i know the last one is a big one but its important.

I live on the Florida Gulf Coast. Right on the ocean (the Sound actually as seen in my photos). A bug-out bag is not only smart, it's essential.

hell yea, nothing wrong with being prepared, hopefully i never will have to "bug out" but it gives me peace of mind knowing if something does happen ill be able to sustain for a while and have to the tools to survive in a different environment.

yea, i'm only 40 miles from the Gulf coast as well, always have to be ready in the summer months... the last hurricane here, the highways were jammed up for about 36 hours, people were running out of gas on the highways, and no way out of Houston...

you should resettle to the East-Coast!
