I love my fellowman more than I do my dog.. Yet honestly when the times I felt the world was beating up on me. I could walk in the door and pick up my dog.. all the unconditional love that she pours out on me each and everyday leads me to make the statement. I love my dog a lot more than I like some people... Quite understandable,you make alot of sense!! Thank you I just don't understand the angst that goes along with the topic...I have made it clear I am a package deal since I have had her literally 12 years as of today and I haven't had him that long.. So when push comes to shove,I wonder who's going to have to "not let the door hit them on the way out! That confuses me... why should anyone have to have the door hit them. Why should either need the door.. If nothing else is should show how committed I can be to something I can be... I think of it as a compromise. and if I have to buy a puppy kennel all in the word compromise

Humans are the best creation. There's nothing more valuable then a human being & nothing can ever replace a human, no material objects, money ect & all the elements will never replace how special a human being is Great topic We create the most beautiful music too. Our imagination is endless.

I have a friend who insists humans are a virus upon the earth...There are days that I agree... I know how people can get on your last nerve and make you feel some type of way,but i have felt that way a couple of times a loooonnng time ago(about people in general a virus ECT),while one person could say the wrong thing to me in the morning and set that tune for the day,(in a bad way)sometimes someone comes along and brighten my whole day,so for every person that try to spoil your day,there're like ten more to brighten it,I've found this to be true,at least with me!

Not sure what this thread is really all about. Something to consider: declaring that ONLY humans matter can, and has in the past, led to the decline and destruction of lots of humans. We live in a universe in which everything is intertwined and interdependent. Closing your eyes to this, and pushing "humans Uber alles" can be terribly self-destructive. Humans do a lot of damage to their own living space. Even when they don't act irresponsibly, they at least USE UP the resources they most need, and (as any living, consuming thing does) eat themselves out of sustenance. Ironically, a LOT of humans are killed every day, by people declaring that Humans are more important than anything else.

Truth be told, I prefer dogs, They are way better people than people are :) If that's the case then why do women say men are dogs.... . Dogs like men are loyal to a fault, as long as you treat them right

The alternative can be more wrong, and worse for all of the people involved. Only the mother knows if she can give the child a decent life and carry the baby to full term, no one else can and no one else should judge. That is more wrong than abortion. No one judges men for the all the sperm they let go to waste obviously. There is hardly any difference, each sperm is a miracle in itself, who are you to say it's not?

That is more wrong than abortion. if people are not capable of facing responsibility, there is always abstinence. every child is a gift from God as only God can bring life. many couples try for years and can't have children. on a different note, we are showing less compassion every day to our communities. more positivity might help to heal some of the ills of our society
