ive been on here for about 3 months and all i see is fake profile after fake profile and people who havent used their account in over a month and prolly never will again. i have read online that this is absolutely one of the worst dating sites on the web and that its near damn impossible to meet a real girl on here that isnt a scammer. the website said they msg'd 500 girls on here, only got 80 replies and 0 dates. and im not talking about online girlfriends im talking face to face actually met the person. has anyone had success with this site or is it just me?

Yep....but you will find quite a few have met people...
in my experience I saw worse then here, at least here the forums are active....

I have met one, considered a local, but who is still too far away and he was for real! We are friends.
And elsewhere, not local, a few 'real people' on skype!

tomato86 is right there are loads of fakes on this site most sites do most that do reply are computer generated responces.

I myself try and find the genuine profiles there is a lot out there its just working out which ones are correct.

Only one in over five years....she came up and canoed and camped, was a nice lady but I left for my Alaska summer right after that and she found someone. We were supposed to get together for fishing and shrimping this month but seems I have found someone on another site:) We are heading to the coast today for a week or so of shrimping,biking etc

First thing is the article states that they sent out 500 messages? I do not believe that. Why? Because mingle there is a block that only allows a small number of messages to be sent per a time period. Second if those messages were sent I am guessing they were form type letters. Any smart women would ignore those. Thirdly any message sent the receipent gets a notification at their regular email. It all truly depends on where you live,what your profile looks like and if you participate in the forums.

I will state that I have met about a dozen locals. And at one point met my fiance here. Why am I still here? He passed 4years ago and I hope it can happen again. If it does this is the place where it will happen.

I personally am real skeptical on what I read on the internet about reviews...I have been on this site for years and I have met some wonderful people from her and another site, that has since been made not so user friendly IMO...

IF someone is sending out that many emails I am willing to bet that they were nothing about the persons profile most likely a very generic..Hi How are you... you aren't going to get anything back with that..

When a man writes me the ones that I respond to with more than a have a nice day are the ones that spent actual time reading my profile and tells me something that they read...

Every site I don't care which one it is, is going to have fakes, scammers, etc. on it. It is up to the person using the site to be buyer beware.
