On many vehicles there's a major underlying issue. On the body you will notice some emblems, and I know this sounds crazy, but it's a serious issue with a lot of vehicles. When the emblem on the vehicle is in the shape of an oval and reads "Ford" in the middle, these vehicles tend to have major issues in general. The only fix for this is to change the emblem to a bow tie style. This will drastically improve your vehicles performance. Or, it could be something else such as axle joints, as Sno mentioned. Either way, I'd get both issues fixed. :P |

snowman is probably on the right track
though most 4x4s with ujoints will act and sound funny with 4x4 engaged and extreme turns. this is because a simple ujoint isn't flexible enough. inbox me and i can walk you through the checks and maybe even the repair |
