Christian Man Asks Gay Bakeries To Make Anti-Gay Cake

This is becoming the politically-correct norm, but no matter which way one argues, this is suppressing free speech.

No one targeted pro-gay bakeries, but gay activists target Christian bakeries. "Support Gay Marriage" caused one Christian bakery to be sued for refusing to put that slogan on a cake for an event to support the gay agenda. Yet Christian bakeries that refuse to make pro-homosexual marriage cakes are getting sued left, right, and center. They get fined, they get death threats, and they lose their businesses. This experiment proves beyond doubt that the gay agenda is not just about their freedom to practice a sexual orientation, but the suppression of free speech.

This **** has gotten so juvenile. If someone wont bake you a frickin cake, go somewhere else that will or bake your own. Of all the problems we have in this country, this crap is what has driven the news in the last few days.

Sorry for the rant.... but damn.....I, frankly didnt use to care who someone married.....it's nothing but a contract anyway, whether it's between the couple and the govt or between the couple and God....but after all this whining lately, I'm just about ready to change my position on it out of spite.

Actually why don't the damn bakeries just bake the cakes whatever they say? A bakery should be about running a friendly business and making a living not playing political games.

How about a gay couple go to a bakery they KNOW will bake them a cake instead of going to one hoping they wont just so they can make a frickin scene.....

It's actually quite ironic.....those that, just a fews years ago, pled voraciously for tolerance, now have none for those that disagree with them. They don't want to be equals.....they want ALL to put them on a pedestal, and tow THEIR line.....with the term "homophobe" cocked and locked in their holster....... ready to be drawn and fired at the slightest hint of disagreement.

IMO: something is seriously wrong & something is seriously lacking, with people who NEED universal approval.

Why couldn't the bakery just bake a cake? Why do they care about people's private lives.. as long as they are getting paid to bake cakes? It seems like the bakery has the agenda not the cake customers. It's just a stupid cake right?

Yep....so find someone willing to provide that service. Im quite sure there are many bakeries that would.....of course, the people complaining then couldnt play the "victim" card.....

I don't hate men and I have said that like a million times, but many here love to say that.
I don't think I would care if a gay person wanted a gay cake if it were my bakery, and I'm straight. I wouldn't care because refusing to serve someone is not being professional.

I wouldn't make an agenda with my customers, I would just make a cake if that's my job. Who really cares? If people didn't make a big deal about gays, they wouldn't be able to shock people and cause controversy. This is such a dumb thing to argue about. I personally don't give a damn either way, because I find both sides to be idiotic.

If it is against the bakery's beliefs, they should have that right. If they lose business...that's on them but they should be able to decide. The couple can go to another bakery. Sounds like the couple did it to make a big deal out of nothing
