I really like the psycho-babble cut and paste stuff that seems to come right off some "format" for dating or a will you contact me at Yahoo or text me and some number so they "can no me more". I know right then to delete the email.
Also like the ones that start out with a religious sermon for the same reason. What is a little irritating are the affluent ones that tell you how nice they are and have family values and how just perfectly it would fit their life for me to turn back the clock 15 years and take another run at the "Mommy tract". Always have to wonder wouldn't it be cheaper to just hire a nanny? It would be refreshing if more would just be honest and say "Hey I am and ordinary guy, who lives and ordinary life, and these are some of the things I actually like to do in whatever spare time I have. It doesn't have to be chapter and verse every little thing I like but he alludes to anything in my profile or posts at least then you can have some normal kind of exchange and can write a reasonably respectable response. I don't know about others but I don't have to drag it out for months but if he is too eager I have to wonder "why". I kind of like thinking there is something compatible before I make a special effort to meet or exchange and address. Be nice if he says he likes something about my looks and personality other than being female. Also nice if he figures out I am smart enough to know how to have sex and still like it or I would not consider dating and a relationship without complaining about the other "cold fish " or "bimbo's" which I am neither. Even at my age I assume my peers still want sex eventually so no performance reports necessary and it is kind of nice if I don't think he has passed himself around to every Suzie, Jane, and Sally. I will determine if how he kisses is amazing. Or if he looks his age. I really don't need to hear why they are divorce or relive the agonies of being widowed. I am not sure why average people, with average resources, who live a great distance think it is going to be a huge draw to abandon all my friends, the area I choose to live in, and take major hits to relocate or vice versa. Do people really dislike their life that much? I don't. It is one thing changing neighborhoods but "everything/everyone" for someone that you could only vacation with if you are that lucky? Seems like asking for misery more than love and a happy life. |
