It's a knew skill for me... I don't hate it.
I will usually park my glorious carcass at the bar, have a beer and a meal. I typically end end up meeting, and chatting with, a few new people. It works. Except tonight... Mr Creepy Mc Pervster invaded my bubble. Fortunately, I am 10' tall, bulletproof and impervious to such rudeness. Does anyone else dine solo? |

Most of the time when I'm at home. Sometimes my cat joins me, but he isn't a very good conversationalist.

I'm very comfortable dining alone.
But I really enjoy cooking for others. Quite a quandary. |

i drink alone.,but i perfer to dine with some one.a friend, a date. local hooker..JK Yes, I would definitely prefer to eat with someone.... But I am newly single, living in a new town/state and I don't yet know many people here. If I didn't go alone, I would still be eating alone at home. It was a lil awkward at first, but I got past that. And, I am meeting some people. Food+beer+people for the win! |

I do when I'm traveling or out of town working. Most times it is fine, but sometimes it is a little uncomfortable.
If you are in a restaurant or bar having dinner and a drink or 2 and most everyone else is with someone.. or with a group, you do feel a bit out of place. So I usually just watch the sports on the bar T.V. and watch the " lounge Lizards" making their moves on the ladies. |

Yes I eat alone almost everyday. I live in the country and there are no restaurants and I prefer to cook my own meals.I was in the restaurant biz for twenty years and single women love to sit at the bar and eat because the bartender can chase off someone that wants to bother you.I am quite sure you won't be eating alone for long.

Thanks Jack.
I cook for myself at least once a day. Cooking tonight was NOT going to happen after my usual 30ish minute commute morphed into a 3 hour ride on the highway to hell. |
