is there an option where i can put myself on invisible so that no one will know if i am online??? whenever i am online it seems i get IM's from people I don';t know..

You can turn your IM off- then you won't be seen as on line.
I keep it off- and tell people to e-mail me because of that. Welcome to JSH...

Go to Home on your profile and then settings...

I turned off my IM because people that I didn't know were sending me IMs. Email first!

Gosh I was gonna reply to W. Tarvin who responded w/ 'well maybe they just want to talk'.. well that would not be a problem but the ones who want to talk are the ones who basically were obnoxious jerks...specifically super young males who could be my kid's age or older guys who aren't even in the age range that i specified.. Go figure, why would I want to date someone that isn't even in my age requests? I have nothing in common w/ someone in their 60's. No offense.
