Hey guys! This is probably not the right place to post this question, but i joined mingle a few days ago hoping to make some friends and sent a brief, polite mail to several women living in the same city in Slovakia as me (i'm a student here), and so far have had precisely zero replies! Is this usual or have i gone about things the wrong way??
My profile is very short tbh, and i haven't posted a picture yet, but since no one's apparently viewed it i don't think this can be the reason. |

Yes posting a picture can have everything to do with a reply. Also listing good interests for mutual conversation. I personaly don't answer posts with no pictures. It may be the people you wrote are just not interested or have not gotten to their e-mails due to life. Don't take it personally. Time and patience. No answer, don't give up, move on to another interest.

Don't bother about the 'profile picture factor' because even if you 'do' upload a photo, it doesn't necessarily prove to anybody out here (excepting yourself) that it's your very own photo. You do get the point I'm hinting at.
In my opinion, you haven't gone the 'wrong' way. Keep smiling. Stay happy. Keep trying. And most important of all: Simply 'be' what you are; Simply 'be' who you are.. 'Destiny' will decide the rest!

Thanks for your replies! I'd like to think i'm a pretty good looking guy tbh, but since i'm primarily looking to make friends i didn't think not posting a picture would be an issue. I'll flesh out my account this evening and maybe i'll have a bit more luck.
