My sis and her hubby met on a blind date......she found him boring.......I told her to give him another chance.........within months they were living together and married......I think she married him for his money.......he is a complete freak.......I dont like him and he doesnt like me

LOL, the myspace angle, I know just what you mean! Thankfully, I've never been on a blind date and I have no intention of ever going on one. I met the guys I dated on my own and they still sucked, so I can only imagine how much worse they could have been if I had been set up.

Ironic - we don't care for blind dates. Yet, when we meet someone on-line, aren't we putting our own selves on a blind date?

Well ask yourself. Would you rather be blind? If not, then why go on a blind date? Never let anyone hook you up. That is like having someone go out and shop for clothing for you. You need to try things on yourself.

Yeh, I went on one setup by a buddies wife. First sentence out of her mouth was how many kids do want? I said none right now. She asked again how many of my kids do you want? Was polite saying goodnight but hit the danged door about Mach 5!!!!

had a blind date sunday(yesterday) we set up ourselves. with someone on this site that never posts. Met him where he has tables at a flea market. Said he was 59. I believe he was in his 70's. Really bad health problems, lungs, diabetic and he lives with his ex wife. He has the front of the house and she has the rest. The only way she could afford to keep the house!! At least he was honest! Lol! I said "well, I'm gonna hit the road". he wanted to know when he would see me again. I said "it was nice to meet you." He said, "oh, okay". and I got the hell out of there!! I did get 2 nice sets of new in the pkg. sheets for $15. from another vendor before I got to my car.
I came home and went to bed for the day!!
It'll be awhile before I go out with someone again!! I'm going to keep looking though! I know I'm not meant to be alone!!
