THE COLOR OF LOVE I see the beauty of the rose, Its fragrance fills the air; But as I see your beauty, The rose does not compare. For when I see the white rose, Like a touch of paradise; It is only a reflection, Of the innocence in your eyes. And there within the pink rose, A softness does impart; Just like the kiss of morning dew, And the tenderness of your heart. I slowly turn the yellow rose, Gaze on it for awhile, And see the glittering brilliance, In the sunshine of your smile. And when I see the rose of red, Look deep inside the bloom; It holds a touch of tender love, Like a beautiful sweet perfume. Keep On Smiling If at times you feel you want to cry. And life seems such a trial. Above the clouds there's a bright blue sky So make your tears a smile. As you travel on life's way With its many ups and downs Remember it's quite true to say One smile is worth a dozen frowns. Among the world's expensive things A smile is very cheap And when you give a smile away, You get one back to keep. Happiness comes at times to all But sadness comes unbidden And sometimes a few tears must fall Among the laughter hidden. So when friends have sadness on their face And troubles round them piled The world will seem a better place And all because you smiled!

Mighty Oak Stand tall oh mighty oak, for all the world to see, your strength and undying beauty forever amazes me. Though storm clouds hover above you, your branches span the sky, in search of the radiant sunlight you count on to survive. When the winds are high and restless and you lose a limb or two, it only makes you stronger, we could learn so much from you. Though generations have come and gone and brought about such change, quietly you've watched them all yet still remained the same. I only pray God give to me the strength he's given you, to face each day with hope, whether skies are black or blue, Life on earth is truly a gift every moment we must treasure, it's the simple things we take for granted that become our ultimate pleasures!

Mask I was once sad and lonely, Having nobody to comfort me, So I wore a mask that always smiled; To hide my feelings behind a lie. Before long, I had many friends, With my mask, I was one of them. But deep inside, I still felt empty, Like I was missing a part of me. Nobody could hear my cries at night For I designed my mask to hide the lies. Nobody could see the pain I was feeling For I designed my mask to be laughing. Behind all the smiles were the tears And behind all the comfort were the fears. Everything you think you see, Wasn't everything there was to me. Day by day, I was slowly dying. I couldn't go on, There was something missing, Until now I'm still searching For the thing that'll stop my crying. For someone who'll erase my fears, For the person who'll wipe my tears. But till then I'll keep on smiling. Hiding behind this mask I'm wearing. Hoping one day I can smile, Till then, I'll be here, waiting...!

The Soul Print Sitting in peaceful places Upon Nature's natural faces Silent sounds of the River's rushing The Wind with the Trees harmoniously brushing Quiet Clouds above calmly passing by A Sea of blue and white that pleases the Eye Mountains in the distance sit still in yellow light The Sun ahead constantly coloring every sight Never again will we ever be here At this very moment let us not fear For this is where the mind is content This is where the Soul leaves its print!

Where Peaceful Waters Flow The clouds break forth the streams of light To dance upon the earth, And cradled in the sands of time, Comes a newborn baby's birth. A gentle breeze blows through the night, It whispers through the grass, And ripples on the water form As rain glistens on the glass. And you listen to the sound, The Lord's presence all around. He summons us to go Where peaceful waters flow. A rainbow arcs across the sky, A promise is displayed. The graceful flight of a butterfly, It takes my breath away. The autumn leaves in their splendor Fall gracefully to the earth, And stars proclaim their song at night, What is their beauty worth? And you listen to the sound, The Lord's presence all around. He summons us to go Where peaceful waters flow!
