My friend and I have large canal barges. Pictures on my profile. We have tried 'Find a crew' web sites but haven't been able to find any ladies to join us. We have spare cabins with en suites. In May we will be travelling from near Nancy south to the Canal de Centre and then the Canal de Nivernais. great for painters or photographers.
Have a holiday of a lifetime.

As long as she can race up the deck and throw a rope onto the bollard in the lock. I have been training my dog to do  it

I've never seen a dog throw a rope. Mostly just seen em scratch their butt on carpet, and that was the smart ones.laugh

If your area is anything like many other areas, where boating is a way of life...

Ready crew members can be found at any waterside tavern.

if you train a dog to be a dog then that is all you will ever get
mine has trained me to have her as my daughter
she knows more then i do
so glad she has come in to my life

best wishes on your hunt
