Been single for almost 6 years. Fear of rejection because I am not a supermodel. How do you get over this and meet people

Just be your natural self but being aware not to come across as a "Super Model". Focus on the other person by talking to them and asking them about them self and their interests. Let them ask you about yourself rather than you TELLing them.

Fear of rejection? Sounds like more of being shy.
Just smile and make eye contact and say, "Hi." |

Even our heroic characters (be they super models) have inner hollowness. It helps some times to know the reality of their weakness to overcome our inhibitions. |

Also, this is a rule rather than exception that all famous and resourceful personalities have rejections at some time of their life...BUT they have overcome it in their own way.

Been single for almost 6 years. Fear of rejection because I am not a supermodel. How do you get over this and meet people From my experience it's a myth to believe that men like supermodel types. I'm only speaking for myself and the men I know, or a lot of them. I bet there's loads of guys who secretly eye you up but you just don't notice it. Love and happiness to you |

Since my last break up I've taken on a new attitude... say Yes to everything. Obviously not literally everything but being an introvert it's easy for me to pass on things my friends invite me to because I think I may not like it.
Be open to new experiences, go do things you enjoy and you just might find someone who enjoys doing the same things. I'm no super model either but guys are attracted to confidence. If you like you other people will too. |
