The truth is that if you see the dress as blue and black...it means that you are a vampire.

I keep wondering if the colors seen depend on the device used to be on the Internet.

The dress is really blue and black but it looked white and gold under the lighting/flash of the camera. I can't believe that this asinine matter made the news and that people are now buying this particular dress in droves. Nice marketing ploy. Gives me ideas.

I agree with you.

So, the dress looks black and blue in dim light but looks white and gold in bright light.

The same phenomenon can be seen during evening when looking at the colors of automobiles.
Some cars look blueish when seen at night but look a different color during broad daylight.

That is what you say, but perhaps you are seeing it as it appears in dim light.

Well, when saw the picture a couple hours ago, it looked white and gold. Now I just came back to look at again after watching TV and now it looks black and blue to me.

So maybe lighting time of day is the problem as dodo said. I am not color blind. He didn't edit the picture location either. Unless foxnews did.

OMG, that is so funny, now it's back to white and gold again. Yup, must be different lights in the other room I was in for a while. Takes time for your eyes to adjust.

The only way to know for sure what colors the dress are is to see the actual dress in broad daylight, instead of just seeing a photo of the dress.
