you're asking the wrong guy bro. i don't have a girlfriend, but i do have women in my life(in nonsexual relationships of course)
past relationships have taught me several things never to do, the most important is not to cheat, or even make her feel that she is being cheated on. i guarantee i guarantee that cheating on a woman does not affect the cheater one iota, but it devastates the woman cheated on for a long, long time

i guess the hardest thing for me now is to find a woman who is not willing to give up her life to live mine, or that wants me to give up my life to live hers. it's difficult because i want some kind of merger somehow where she can enjoy things she enjoys without me, i can enjoy things i enjoy without her, we each enjoy those times alone (trust is big here), and cherish the special times we enjoy things together. that's not to say that things she enjoys now on her own i might find enjoyable with her or vice versa

(bulldog double guarantee - patent pending)

very wise words

I hold the hair out of her eyes during sex....Just kidding....to be honest I spend time with her and really listen when she talks to find out who she is as a person and then do the little things she likes to make her happy.

I think allowing her to bask in my presence is enough.

Considering I've never been married. I probably am the wrong type of schmuckfrustrated to be answering. With that said.

I talk with her about whatever. I listen to her, not just hear her. Compassionate, and affectionate toward her. Do what I can to nurse her back to health. I might not be a masseuse, but I'm not afraid to rub whatever she would like. pitchfork
oops
Help out with whatever household chores. Consider her feelings, her thoughts, but yet be completely honest. Give her myself completely, but not in a clingy way. Protect her however I can. This is just a sample of how I am.blushing

Thanks Lionsbrew for starting the topic.
