CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - U.S. marshals posing as supporters arrested convicted tax-evaders Ed and Elaine Brown at their rural, fortress-like home, the head marshal said Friday.

"They invited us in, and we escorted them out," U.S. Marshal Stephen Monier said, releasing the first details of Thursday night's arrests.

A small team of marshals pulled off the ruse, arresting the Browns without incident on the front porch of their Plainfield home in west-central New Hampshire, Monier said.

The arrests ended a months-long standoff that began in January, when Brown, 65, a retired exterminator, and his dentist wife, 67, walked out of their federal trial in Concord. She returned to the trial but soon joined her husband at home, where they vowed to resist violently if authorities tried to arrest them.

"We either walk out of here free or we die," Ed Brown said.

At a news conference, Monier said officials found booby traps in the woods on the 100-plus-acre property and weapons, ammunition and homemade bombs inside and outside the house. He said more charges are likely.

I can't believe they fell for that old Trojan Horse Trick laugh Actually it was handled much better than the previous administration handled Ruby Ridge and Waco. Well folks I can't linger here long, I have iron that must be heated and then bent and hammered into grotesque shapes for filty lucre so I can pay my taxes. laugh

Q- whats your duty as a citizen when you know that you are being unconstititionaly defrauded?
fOR ME THE CHOICE IS CLEAR... THE PATRIOTIC THING TO DO IS STAND UP FOR WHAT IS RIGHT, REGARDLESS OF THE PERSONAL CONSEQUENCES. ... damn caps button...
How many today have the fortitude to risk everything for thier beliefs? This is the mentality that built this country to start with.
The bank accout is one of 28 ducks yoU must have in line to win against the IRS.
yOU CANT GO TO COURT TODAY AND EXPECT A judgement against the IRS, you must go around them, as a frontal assult ( in court)is bound to fail. Thier mistake was to show up in the first place. If you insist on showing up, your best play then is to make sure you dont have any contracts. e.g., When the Judge calls you, sit there like a lump. if dragged up, say thank you. -Whats your name??? no thats incorrect.
-What is your address? You can address me as william.
-How do you get your mail? It comes in white envelopes.
- What about this case? What case? I dont understand. and so on.
another tactic is to tell the judge you dont understand.
-whats your name? i dont understand.

-what color is the sky? i dont understand.
ect. ect.
What you are telling the Judge here is that you dont stand under his jurisdiction. (... and you had better not have any contracts with the IRS OR THE COURTS OR YOUR BUSTED. )
tHE JUDGE, IN QUESTIONING YOU, IS ATTEMPTING TO ESTABLISH JURISDICTION OVER YOU. If you dont play ball, he has no choice but to throw the case out.
another thing... when taken to jail, dont sign anything. dont let them take your picture, ect. theres your contract... if you play along.
i say all this to show that one can defeat these crooks, but you had better do a lot of homework and be prepared for a lot of greif to do it. these are but some of the many traps you have to avoid falling into to win against these criminals.... ( which i and lots of others have done sucessfully)so be warned.

I feel bad for them, they stood up for what they believed in, not harming anyone and they still get arrested and will prolly die alone in separate prisons.

Didn't colonists start a revolution over taxes? I think we need another one.
