it is definitely a different world out there and the older we get the harder it is to find a guy that wants to be in a LTR. Most have been alone for so long that there is no room for another person in their life like that. They want to play after years of imprisonment. LOL. There are good guys out there they just have to find us....ha ha

Some want to go fast, but if they really like you they will slow down for you so they can be with you.

Sounds like you need to polish up on the ol' how to flirt thing...It kinda gets lost sometimes and you have to practice a bit to get up to speed, and then the guys will ask you out because they will know you are interested in them

I think the fact that you are "separated" scares most men....who wants to get fully involved with someone who could get back with the ex at any time????

She has gone her own way I have gone mine until the paperwork goes through...other than that, we are still friends, no hate between the two of us...we have three daughters to share and there are no shadows to follow me other than my three daughters.

I do understand but i just can't afford to file for a divorce right now, there is no reason for me to go back to my ex, i have been put through to much crap. I will never allow myself be treated that way agian. I know i deserve better than that.

you can do up your own divorce for cheap. Just go to any Chapters book store and buy the papers.....fill it out and go to a notary to stamp the rest and pay maybe $200.00......but oh there are kids involved.....hmmmmm tell him to pay!!

shoot, i can barely get him to give me child support, as far as that goes, i am still stumped on what to do. But i will go and get the papers, i didn't know you could buy them, thanks for telling me! I called an attorney, they said $2,000 to start. I thought they had lost there mind.

littleangel....just do as I am doing, just make friends for now and the ones that will understand what you are going through, will be patient enough to know you are telling them the truth. There is no chance of my marriage mending and I have come to terms with that...we have become friends and we have moved on. Sometimes the price isn't $200. You can file your own papers after the notary stamps it, as long as there is no child support involved and you both have agreed to go your separate ways with visiting rights agreed upon the two of you, you will be ok. Here in Georgia, it will only $75. to file in court and take a 4 hr. course in family parenting and the divorce will be final. Check with your courthouse and see what it will take for you to file. Good luck because you do deserve better.

No littleangel and I weren't married...read the whole thread to get the picture. Although she looks like she would be sweet enough to propose too right now...but I am taking baby steps just like she should. Hope we can be friends littleangel and maybe heal through this together.
