See What One High School Is Suggesting Young Girls Do to Honor Islam

Students are suspended for passing out the Constitution, holding prayer groups, and the pledge of alligence..... a thing of the past.....BUT ISLAM..... under this admin's push for Common Core and it's refusal to stand up for American traditions and values (although I'm agnostic our country was founded with Judeo Christians principles), afraid to embarrass, or even associate extremist acts of terrorism with Islam, are now allowing our children to be indoctrinated to it without a problem!

This tyrannical admin under Obozo's leadership has America flying upside down!

you need to research the difference between a public charter school and a regular public school.....the most glaring is that these schools are attended by choice and not by state requirement.......enough with the spinning, already...whoa

Is this a forum for ignorant people to vent their hatred and lack of knowledge?

Yes, this is a forum for liberals and Democrats to express their politics.

Anyway, the OP is complaining about something that appears to be harmless.
A Muslim student organization in a school wanted to do something to teach others about their faith.

By the way, students in the USA can still pray in school.

I had a Indian guy working with us ( An American). Great guy, smart, funny.. just one of the guys. He wore a traditional head ware ( turban)

He decided that he wanted to join the Air Force. Good idea.. smart guy... good move. everyone wished him well. He took and passed all of the tests and when it came time to sign. He told them that he insisted on wearing his headwear.

Of course the Air Force said no.. you wear the uniform like everyone else. He didn't join.

But the most amazing part of this was that he was actually upset that the Air Force would not bend and let him wear his turbine.. like they had no right to refuse that.

There is a difference between what that guy did and a group of high school students asking girls to voluntarily try on a head covering for one day.

Yes, this is a forum for liberals and Democrats to express their politics.

lets not forget the conservatives and Republicans who resort to
name-calling and insults whenever logic and facts or others opinions
get in the way of their "my way is the only way" position of any debate
that happens to come up...

You seem to have it backwards ...

" Why Liberals Always Resort To Name-Calling?
Liberals profess to be tolerant compared to their conservative counterparts. The truth is that liberals are only tolerant of people with whom they agree. Rather than using civil discourse to debate conservative thought, liberals seem to have an inherent tendency to demonize and demean the human value of their political opponents. If you oppose higher taxes and bigger government, it's because you are a greedy, selfish person. If you oppose affirmative action, it's because you are a racist. If you support enforcement of our immigration laws, you are bigot or a rabid dog. Yep, State Rep. Mara Candelaria-Reardon (D-Hammond) called State Sen. Mike Delph (R-Carmel), author of Indiana's immigration enforcement law, a rabid dog."

thanks for validating my comment.....

So those pointing fingers at others agreeing with the OP are saying that anyone who disagrees with "their" opinion is full of hatred and ignorant to boot?

Go figure slaphead
