i am sure this has been done before...but i am a newbie so thought i'd ask! has anyone here actually met up in real life with someone they met online? how did it go? good or bad or painfully embarrassing stories welcome!

wow jen congratulations!! see my mother thinks that the only internet users are "those internet weirdo pervert types" or their victims! i like to hear a good story about a couple meeting and hitting it off for real! (although the sadist in me also likes to hear the stories that are the type you will "look back and laugh about someday" )

Robin. Hi LW I haven't met anyone in person yet but I have talked to quite a few on the phone or Skype. In a month or two I will be starting to meet some of the friends I've met online.

I met the guy in the picture with me on this site ...and he is my other half...the part of myself I never knew was missing. I have also met some friends from this site and they are fantastic...Just keeping looking around and be careful. But love from the internet can be found.
