What mostly would you like? You love Him/Her ? Or He/She love you? Why would you be with somebody that didn't love you back? OR Why would you be with somebody you didn't love? I don't understand the question? Because sometimes happen that they started to a friend -> a best friend -> a best of friend and we didn't know we fell inlove with him/her.But he / she love another woman/ man.. Then you have to be strong either way - leave the friendship or adjust to only friendship again. Neither is easy and takes time to stabilize.

To love him, it is the only thing I truly have any control over and even that is questionable, the control that is to say. I must be ill, I never answer these silly questions.

If you were in a fight would you rather be punched in the face or punch someone in the face? There you will have your answer. I don't believe "neither" was an option. Of course I would feel bad to tell someone I don't love them,in most cases.
