1. I don't know why this website sends many profiles to me of younger women whose interest (friendship or dating or intimacy or marriage) is
a) not the same as mine nor
b) do the women's stated interest extends to my age group.

2. It occurs to me that several of the profiles are either fake or duplicates of the same women.

All I want is clean contact with women who'll accept men of my age group and
whose interest coincides with mine.
I wish the people of this website pay attention to this. Otherwise, my inclination after a while is to forget mingle2com.

you need to learn how to set your preference filters and mail filters...try the "Help" thread, maybe someone will explain how for you....i'm too loaded to try to myself laugh

I have my preference filters set but I'm still getting extremely young guys, married men who are only separated and not legally divorced, men who live too far to actually meet, etc. mutual matches do not seem to honor your preference filters at all. It's whoever would want to match up with you who are suggested as a mutual match, not necessarily those you would pick, or at least
This is what it appears like to me anyway.

There is a new Help topic that discusses this very subject which might shed some light on the subject!

The same thing happens to me, even with my filters set to by pass younger women.

I specifically put ages 50 to 66, yet I get women in their 20, 30, early 40's writing me. It's annoying! I politely dismiss them with a short note, b/c I have no interest in them at all.

These younger women seem to think they can con an older lesbian (or an older man). Most aren't women at all. It's really annoying!

One does get messages from those who are obviously are not right matches for them from time to time. When I get a message from someone too young I just remind them of my children's ages who are older than the messenger. Always works :-) Ultimately, you are your own filter. I just roll with it.

Ah Mingle2Roy, the reason that this website is sending you so many younger women is because that is in your search preference. Even though finding a Lady is extremely difficult. Mingle seems to be pretty easy to navigate even in the basic mode. If you limit your search to just only women in your age preference, most likely that is the women that you are going to profile. Although some women have the Sugar Daddy syndrome and even a fewer have a Daddy syndrome, most of the women in our age group will most likely be our age. I did write a post in the 30 and under category on how to keep old guys from contacting you. I have some ladies in their early thirties and twenties did view my post out of curiosity. I wish you the best of luck in your search, ironically most of my friends would be delighted to meet a woman decades their junior.
