Either in real life or online ppl lie and is just their nature... sorry that u went trough a bad experience. I have myself a couple of those. But at the end u have to stay strong for yourself. Someone told me u will get ur reward one day. I honestly doubt it but we can not close the door forever. just be careful trust is gained with time. If someone shows up in the future just take ur time.
Same boat here sadly.

True too, cos' the chinks are there and we do become vulnerable, but hopefully our determination will see us through that, and we learn to stand tall again. Wildflower.... stay strong! |

Sometimes it seems to me we live in a world that is all upside down. We feel ashamed for good things we do in life, because giving love is always a good thing, great thing. And we think that we are fools. Just as victims of any violence think. Because awaken love in someone with whome you don�t really want to be, playing games and pretendings, that is a really mean violence. If he lied to you, he is the one to be ashamed. It�s his fault, not yours. Those who destroy, who use hurting others to cure their own complexes instead to protect, they are very below you. Unfortunately, too many wolves out there. Cherish yourself, cure your heart, be very caucious about who - but remain loving. Wish you the best. |

I don't know about making me stronger, but it certainly makes me whatever I am, after I survive something.
I really like "wise sayings" a lot, because they are like very short poems or songs, to me. They are attempts to encapsulate something the author learned, into a short, easy to remember capsule, as well as an attempt to share the learning with others. Plus they can be fun and amusing. I've written a few of my own over the years. It's tricky though. Lots of "wise sayings" get misused by people with untoward agendas. Watch out for people who use comforting quotes to lull you into a false sense of security. As for the world of love, I've been through hell and back too. I find that as a result, I am much more cautious about believing that people are what they claim to be, but I am also certain that I now can love far more deeply and meaningfully than I ever could have had I not suffered as I did. |
