as so we are told, maybe mainstream scientists don't know much about it but I chalk that up to compartmentalization. people who have worked inside the government claimed that technology is way ahead of what people really believe it to be.

If you've studied dialectics, you will see how persons in position of power utilize dialectics to control the masses mind.

can you believe the government are working on programs to use the so called " Mind Control" to use for its own gain. I even hear that the government has the power to control the weather as a war weapon. Can you imagine on a push of a button the government can cause a typhoon or hurricane to wipe out a rival country as a weapon. Dang, what a great power.

I saw a mind control thing on t.v. The guy was saying no way could he be hypnotized to do anything and he was scratching like a chicken and dragging his foot like it was broken. Then they showed the tape where the guy had hypnotised him to do that.

I do believe there is mind control or even HAARP in this world. Just think of what happening in North Korea. Propaganda is found everywhere, so it is not surprisingly to know that mind control can be existed in well developed countries. In term of history or science, may be it is not a horrible thing. It may be just something to put forward or to rewrite the history. All we need to focus is that, our lives ... to live without regret and with faith and happiness. Right?

In modern terms mind control is the effect of propaganda. Since it's early use, it has been found to be highly effective and if used over a person's entire lifetime can control major attitudes about almost anything.

A good modern example is the children who are raised to believe terrorism is a good approach to solving problems, strapping a suicide vest on is a good way to die, or having extra children so some can be used to kill enemies is a good idea.

Once thinking like this exceeds one generation in time it becomes increasingly easy to foster as the propaganda is self perpetuating.

my understanding of mind control isn't about chips or high tech equipment, but of understanding a person's vulnerabilities and manipulating low self esteem.

leaders of different types including gang members do this in different ways as well.

i agree with this, but really this is just taking advantage of a weak minded person... the followers allow it to happen because they are weak minded...

people always want to believe something, especially if it happens to be what the followers are thinking in first place... jim jones, koresh, and people like them just found people that thought similarly alike and used it to do what they did... not exactly mind control, but finding people with weak minds willing to believe what they already thought...

How I understand mind control is that it works like this...Take the popular words "Just Do It", use it to make a simple video in which a man stands at the top of a skyscraper.Make him jump down,land on his feet smiling unhurt and walking away.

Now just flash those three words across the video.Get people to watch this video repeatedly and you'll be surprised at how many people will want to take such risks. WHat is happening to them? Simple,by simply watching the video a part of them was telling them to do the exact same thing as the protagonist in the video.

Television, movies, the evening news.. does not REFECT society. As we have been told... It DICTATES & CONTROLS it & DESENSITIZES it.

The MORE the average person SEES & HEARS something/ anything... the MORE they BELIEVE it to be true.
Even Adolf Hitler's - Mein Kampf, has quotes on repeating a SIMPLE word or phrase to the people to control them & bend them to your will.

It's not such a stretch to think that the history of mankind is the product of 'mind control.' Ever since becoming aware of 'self' humans have toyed with what to do with it, what can be done with it.

A constant bombardment of efforts to direct others thoughts, behaviors, perceptions, is the very hallmark of humanity, imo.

There will always be those who believe they know better, have a better solution, simply ARE better than the great unwashed they seek to influence.

"Mind Control" as a concept has been around for a loooooong time before anyone coined the term "mind control."

In a larger sense, humans have used "mind control" on non humans starting before they invented writing and started recording what they did. "Domestication" is mind control.

Humans have always used it on each other, too. Raising children to behave and to cooperate involves "mind control." In fact, a lot of what exists today as the more nefarious and feared forms of "mind control," are sourced and based more than anything else, on how we deal with children. The use of fear, the establishment of unquestionable authority, and even the use of Big Lies to get results, is all trained into most humans by their well-meaning parents, from birth.

These days, you can find a lot of outspoken people who THINK they oppose mind control, advocating heavily in favor of it. Promoting patriotism via any means other than trying to build a better, more democratic government system, is pushing mind control. It's equally an attempt at mind control, to promote the opposite, using propaganda.

One very big thing to watch out for in something as complex and as mysterious as "mind control," is what happens in cases such as the Jim Jones mess. Jones used, among other things, peoples' FEAR of mind control, to control their minds. He also apparently used the possibility of government "mind control," as a cover story to explain his own lies, and aberrant behaviors.

As for the possibility of artificial brain implants to control people directly, I'm 100% sure that that is on the way. We don't have it yet, however. What can probably be done now, is a variation on what has been done before: use artificial means to disrupt a persons' ability to reason for themselves clearly.

But it is already possible to artificially cause people to hallucinate that they are being attacked in their beds, using magnetic fields. (see work by Dr. Persinger in Canada on this). So sooner or later, we will be able to put things into human bodies which will at least allow us to torture them from a distance, and eventually control them in detail.

In the mean time, watch out for people trying to control your mind by getting you to believe that someone ELSE is trying to control your mind. That is the current most popular form of Mind Control.

It is being controlled, but not by microchip but all religions, advertisement on tv etc. And it works that is why they spend millions of dollars to advertise because after watching this ads people actually buy the their product and it is type of mind control.
