If I sit here long enough and wait
Will I recieve from you love or hate
What if I decide to go
If I leave I'll never know
The things I say the things I do
Aren't neccessarily said to upset you
I meander through all different threads
Sometimes with no thoughts in my head
I sometimes say the silliest words
With foolish sayings, and careless blurbs
But what I say comes from the heart
With seriousness in some part
You know the song 'Tears of a clown'?
Well that stops me from feeling down
When no one's here and things are slow
And there's nowhere else to go
Look around for things to do
There's no one here just me and you
So to you the reader of this rhyme
Go out and have a real good time
But I'll be here when you get back
Sitting on my bean bag sack
Waiting for a friend to call
I'll know then I'm not alone at all.
