more help with perspective...

oxford university is older than the aztec empire.

mammoths went extinct 1,000 years after the egyptians finished building the great pyramid.

if you shrunk the sun down to the size of a white blood cell and shrunk the milky way galaxy down using the same scale, it would be the size of the continental united states.

will smith is now older than uncle phil was at the beginning of the fresh prince.

the probability of you drinking a glass of water that contains a molecule of water that also passed through a dinosaur is almost 100%.

every two minutes, we take more pictures than all of humanity did in the 19th century.

and of course there's always this...

rofl rofl rofl   laugh

I love the perspective of your evolution here...

from Machete attacks to the Milky Way - btw the thickness is about 16.000 light years apparently-

and "Just remember that you're standing on a planet that's evolving"

OMG I have always thought the Monty Python crew was genius and now science actually confirmed that Eric Idle was pretty accurate with the figures he gave at the time he wrote the lyrics.

"The sun is source of all our power"

SO anyways.... always look on the bright side of life...drinker

(I was expecting some wiki link..lol)

Yes it's been done (Resolutions).

Heck, everyone wants to vacuum more, eat less, manage better, not be so fixated on managing, eat more, vacuum less and relax. (Short list. Expecting retorts, especially on lucky demographic eating more). Perhaps it's about charity and feeding as many as you can. In that case, BLESS YOU!

for me this year
I think it is more about......

..."perspective", trying to walk a mile in the shoes, being forgiving, the golden rule, see how what you do (or do not do) affects the ones you care about, giving 2nd chances.

So to start....."I Think It Is About......."?

I've been doing this for the latter half of my life.
It can be exhausting, exasperating, at times.
But also very rewarding.

Yeah me too...
and the first part ... Who wants to vacuum more or worry about eating less? Must say I'm lucky, the last couple of years my body seems to be fairly stable with whatever I eat (knock on wood)
Manage wot? Money maybe, but I gave up on managing that, lol

I don't do resolutions, such a load of BS. What I have done however, is get a big jar and every time something positive happens, I write it down on a small piece of paper and put it in the pot.
On Dec 31st 2015 I will open it and read all the good things that have happened to me :D

I don't resolve to do anything instead I strive to have some goals. To be more creative, see more beauty in my surroundings and to be more present.

I also love the positive jar, in fact I gave each of my children a Happiness Jar for Christmas.
