The website is a little like the show "Ancient Aliens" which brings up lots of these questions. The website looks at the DNA from a religious point of view.

It should be noted that there were multiple human species at one time. The only one left is us homo sapiens. We interbred with, at least, some of them as the portion of Neanderthal DNA can be measured in most non Africans. The portion of Denisovans is not known and some of the more isolated species, such as the Hobbits, may not have mixed with modern humans.

No. Homo floresiensis (Hobbits) are from Sumatra, specifically the island of Flores, Indonesia.

I did more research because it was just a video of a lady talking, which is not really credible. I did find that this chunk of DNA was introduced around the time period of the flood mentioned in the Bible. I also did more research about giants living today. I was amazed to see actual pictures of proportionate people that are huge in stature and build. This is interesting to me because I have a seven foot relative and very large built family members. They are built like tanks. The thought was the growth hormone was over producing because of a tumor or some other cause. Most people that have this problem are usually disfigured in some form.

There are other people of many races that are portionate compared to their size, but huge compared to us.

We also have tracked that part of the family back to the Nordic region. I thought that part was very interesting also. I joke that we are the land of the giants, but maybe this part of the family really does come from a different hominid species of giants.

This has nothing to do with "angels" or "religion".

The key word here is quality, not quantity. Wiki is a good source for most general research but can fall apart on the really technical subjects. Major university websites are sometimes good sources but sometimes not.

Blogs are the worst websites followed by the online news magazines. They tend to take a little truth and make outrageous projections that turn the resulting conclusions into something far from the truth.

Real magazines like Discover and Popular Science tend to be more accurate than not but still rely on some (possibly goofy) science writer to turn boring facts into exciting reading.

There is an old saying, "Consider the source!".

Someone wake me when an actual science magazine reports that scientists have empirical evidence for the existence of supernatural beings called "angels".
