In the USA poverty exists but not nearly to the heart wrenching degree that it does in many nations.

I just wish more of the money and supplies we actually send would get to the children. Seems like so many people have to take their cut of the pie and leave little but crumbs left for the most needy.

I hope with the availability of world wide internet we can see what the specific needs are and tract the help that is sent so it does the most good.

Unfortunately there is donation burn out and people tend to forget so quickly.

is true that eacha nation have the same problem of street and orphans children.but by bad luck even some of those who open children homes.They start for their own benefit and not get the donation to the children. but still trust people they exist for those who need to support.. be bless

It is fine to point out problems but posting on line it is probably a very good idea to make it clear that you are talking in generic terms and not using your profile or posts to solicit donations because then people will figure you are a scammer and it is going in your pocket.

I do want to add that for those in other countries that see the terrible suffering if they would tell those of us fortunate enough to live in countries that could help; how we could help I think the willingness to help would increase.

One of the great blessings of the internet is being able to pinpoint specific needs.

Our small church has and affiliation with a specific mission project and they tell us the ages, sizes, and specific needs of almost 150 children and frail elderly in one village in detailed gratitude filled letters.

What truly awed many was the workers would never include their own children or their own needs.

But local volunteers would painstakingly explaining special obstacles and specifically how many they needed of what and draw pictures. Even knowing just how many nails they need to build a school house, buckets to haul water, or candles to get each family light; no surplus or greed. Accounting to the single item.

As people delivered we found they would work around the clock running sewing machines, a plow, manning a hand pump, or a saw so that everyone who needed a turn got a turn.

And they wasted nothing. Cans were turned into roof tops, shipping container's into school classrooms, packing crates into church pews and classroom benches. If we sent anything they did not need it was recycled to something they did. Not showing up for "work" days or school" is almost unheard of unless illness demands caregiving of another.

We are often awed at how often they are willing to share tools and skills and pay forward anything that could reproduce "wealth" in the community. Often choosing to give up seeds, baby animals, and even books once they were memorized. If someone out grew a garment it was return to the storehouse; clean and mended unless maybe they were buried in it.

So yea we donate and hunt out ways to work miracles but the miracles are the tenacity and spirit of the people.

What i know,to save a need people especial children is the God's work and has a great bless and miracle.is like your own child is at Dubai and you at the same time you live at America and you have anything to help him but you can't at the moment..... but at the same time your child calling you and is in agent needy,but you can't do anything. But when you think on how to help him,stranger come and help your child some of basic needy. So your time reach to vist your child in Dubai and you know that was a stranger who help your child.at the time you get to Dubai you must find the person who help your child and prepare some gift for him.
What i mean here is to help the needy children is like that stranger and because the children always pray to God. When God decide to bless a child. He will not forget you and bless you...
