I love politics and i'm 23 and whatever you believe it is just a shame that there are so many people that don't vote much less care....really important stuff here people! and we worry so much about stupid things that don't even matter when our country is at it's most crucial time in history!!! sorry but i needed to vent

I agree with you, it is sad to see so many people who do not vote.
Everyone *****es about what is happening, but how many of the *****ees actually voted?!? If you dont like something, stand up and be heard, make a difference! If you like something, stand up and support it! |

There's something MTV does called "Rock the Vote", or something like that, that encourages young people to register. If the candidate you're pulling for has a campaign HQ near you, volunteer to help out. Write letters to your local paper. It's just a matter of convincing people that it's important to vote, that the last two Presidential elections have shown us that every vote DOES count.

I wish they could create an incentive system where u get money or something off ur taxes when u vote i'm serious.

I think their are enough idiots interested in politics now. The question is. . .how do we get them to eat that "early banana" so they'll not abuse my ears? actually I do vote, but, I don't think it does any good. We have finally got the Democrats running Washington and they're giving Bush EVERYTHING he wants, and some things he didn't even think of We voted you Democrats in and we can vote you out the same way!! When the Electoral College finally is ended (and I gotta hold onto the hope that it will be ended) then I think our votes for Presidential elections will count!
"This has been presented by a self proclaimed idiot" Oh yeah, welcome to the forums and JSH!! |
THAT'S THE PROBLEM!!!! THEIR ARE IDIOTS IN POLITICS NOW ...WE. US. ALL OF US HAVE TO CHANGE THAT NOT JUST WHINE AND CRY ABOUT IT.

aw why did you take the picture of Bush holding a shucked ear of corn and calling it "an early banana" off. Now everyones gonna think i really am crazy. "crazy like a fox"

THE ONE GOOD THING ABOUT BUSH....HE WILL BE OUT OF OFFICE SOON

WELL IF U MUST KNOW IT WAS ACTUALLY A PICTURE OF BUSH LOOKING DUMBFOUNDED AS USUAL HOLDING AN EAR OF CORN SAYING "Y BANANA TASTEE FUNY" REFERRING TO HOW DUMB HE IS

Gee Knox, I thought the last two Presidential Elections proved that no vote, but, the electoral college counts!

Vent all you like. What you say is true. People don't take the time to properly educate themselves about the issues, then vote--if they vote at all--on a candidate's popularity, rather than his or her qualifications.
so true. like u said if they vote at all

Donnar, if enough people had voted in 2000, maybe we wouldn't have been put in a position for Bush to be put into office via a Supreme Court vote. The number of eligible voters in this country who DO NOT vote is staggering.
Trust me, if anyone here thinks I like Bush, they haven't read any of my posts in "Current Events". After all, who do you think gave him the nickname "President S*** Stain"? |

i saw mtv's so called rock the vote last time we had and election they had Paris dumbass hilton as the spokes person for "vote or die" the girl wasn't even registered. They were making fun of it on the news a few weeks after the election
