How can we do that? I don't think you "find" it ... I think it just happens  True, but it helps to stack the deck in your favor. Be a recluse on a desert island and your odds are slim. I think all you guys have a point,but just want to add that ,alot of times we're looking in the wrong places,and some who have found it ,never saw it coming,ever known somebody that couldn't stand to breathe the same air as another person,but some strange chit happen an they fell in love?Or perhaps some of us can relate to it! But I heard this saying,"love is like a fart,if you have to force it,its probably chit"!

True love at what age? 20? 30? 40? 50? 60...70...? Do you believe you can love again at your age and with your life experience? If you do, than you might get lucky and find it. However, most people on dating sites look for other things, not for love. I believe you can love "again" at any age and regardless of life experience...I also believe what Lars said, "Love just happens" ...Even those who are not actively looking will find it impossible to resist when it "just happens" to them...  "Just happens"? Perhaps you are right. I don't know... But, if you are not looking for love how can it just happen? I am not sure anything can just happen if the person is not ready for it and doesn't really want it. You can't make yourself love someone or make someone else love you. I guess both have to look for love and be ready to truly accept other person as is, and than it could "just happen". I could be wrong, of course. Everyone has different life experience. :-) You're right, you can't make someone love you...You can't make yourself love someone...Love "just happens".... If you asked me to choose just one sentence to make a point, it would be this one: "I guess BOTH have to look for love and be ready to truly accept other person as is, and than it could "just happen"." If one is looking for love, but the other isn't, it won't just happen. That's what I meant.   I knew what you meant...Do you know what I mean?  I think I do. LOL

how to find true love?
find all things that are NOT LOVE within one self, and then deem them unacceptable to one self and don't do them. then one will feel true love feelings at all times. then, only pair one self with another who knows and does the same. good luck |

Let love find you..  I do agree with your opinion, m3k4y. Also just never lose hope, always praying / keep in faith, then finally lets God do the rest.

hoping and thinking one is going to "find love", is no different than thinking one self is going to find a million dollars in it's bank account, lest one self put it there.
it is only "hoping" for "love", as if it be some strange elusive lucky ghost that only visits sometimes, MIGHT VISIT, that keeps the unknowing as hoping food shall be bought to their door, instead of going to the grocery store. true love is a "feeling", that only validating other "feelings" besides it, of course, shall make it impossible for "feelings" of true love to be present in one's own body. that which thinks it shall find "true love", is that which believes "others" are responsible and CREATING one's own feelings, when indeed, self feels and CREATES all it self feels, by what feelings it self validates in it self. other "people" do not create self's feelings. such is an illusion that blind and keep many walking in circles. one self creates all it's OWN FEELINGS. only those that "blame others", for all the ways one self feels, will believe in the fairy tale notion that they are "waiting" on love, or that "love" will find them. smiles |

To find true love you must first understand that what you are really in love with is what you will see thru the eyes of another what you give to them, if you are not being 100% true with yourself then his will reflect back at you from their side and vice versa. To be worthy you must live as a worthy person!
