be respectful. maybe ask more detail about something in their profile that you both have in common. just be yourself But what if being himself is being disrespectful and other stuff like that,would that still help?!

I have had 'Hi' and 'Hello'! That didn't work.....so skip that! Talk about what you like about their profile, their picture and their likes as stated in the profile....something that made you approach them in the first place.

I actually saw something like this yesterday at our office winter dance. one of my coworkers who is odd and needs a lot of patience from people was there with her date. he's so far out there that the rest of us at the table were just like, what is up with this guy. but he and my coworker understood each other perfectly. guess that's why they say it takes all kinds.
