actually my daughter got me into that......it's funny when your kid is seven and saying "Mommy try this.." and you like it!

as a kid for years i would eat each food on my plate one at a time. in other words, at mcd, fries then sandwich then shake or sandwich then shake then fries. never really realized i was doing this until a friend pointed it out - at mcd's incidentally
i've loosened up a bit. but i still sort of eat one thing at a time...i find myself doing it subconsciously

Me to slow....and nothing on my plate can touch!! I also used to eat my burgers in a circle.....all around the edge first. That way it was always round!

I did the same thing with one food at a time...my daughter does the nothing on her plate can touch.....when she was about six we heard her saying to her food "now you don't like them cuz mashed potatos and meat don't get along. So go to that side of the plate"
oh yeah one more thing.....if I open a bottle of soda and take a sip, you can count eight seconds and I will hiccup. every time!! |

oh i gave up on the touching thing. i even mix stuff now. but my default mode when i'm absentmindedly munching is still one at a time...
but i could probably give you a run for your money on tent pitching. location, location, location

damn, we're all a little strange; when i was a kid; i'd eat one at a time, everything on my plate clockwise.
