.. does anyone decorate there house for Christmas anymore..?...

.. I mean when I was a young boy...
even on the farm! the neighboring farms all had Christmas lights up..

.. and going into town, all the stores all the residential areas everybody .. had the Christmas lights up...

.... now days.. not so much..
.. on my entire block myself and one other neighbor have our lights up...
.. I do not turn mine on.. until December.... but even after December.. the beginning of December.. when people do turn their Christmas lights on... it's sporadic at best..... you can drive two blocks and then see one house with Christmas lights on... .. what has happened to the joy of Christmas...

... where is everyone's Christmas spirit...?.. do you put your Christmas lights up.. and proudly display your joy of Christmas....

No one here does it, though the city does some ornamental stuff on
my street.

As kids, we would get to drive around and look at whole streets of Christmas lights, everyone outdoing the Jones's.

I miss them :-(

I can honestly say that my little city is the perfect Christmas card...hundreds of homes participate in a light display contest...with the snow and pretty colorful lights twinkling everywhere...favorite time of the year...love to drive up the hill at night and enjoy the view.....yup...I love Christmas..!!!....
