The movie "Interstellar" is making a big hit among many science buffs for imbedding real physics into the movie (as opposed to the BS physics normally injected by Hollywood writers). One of the producers, Kip Thorne, is a physicists with knowledge of wormholes, warped space/time, and blackholes.

I saw the flick last week, and was impressed by the attention to detail. The movie makes much use of Einstein's Theory of Relativity for time travel (the same way we commonly use it now), as well as modern theories of multidimensional space and the ability of the human mind (spirit?) to cross dimensional boundaries.

The time travel elements of the movie also embody the ultimate "grandfather paradox".

The movie incorporates the science of the numerous planets we have been finding around other star systems. Way Cool!
