when I am hated..it intrigues me
for many are self absorbed...me, included
and yet when someone takes the time to hate me..i notice
maybe it's as simple as they think I hate them
when truly I am self absorbed and have no time to hate
I could never be absorbed in them as they are of themselves
for I am happily absorbed within myself
I extoll to look forward than back
I look to first time not last time
perhaps they play dirty
and convince others I hate them as well..or am a hater with a capital h
I believe it is easy to hate
I siphon away hate energy and leave nothing left to share
and i'll be damned first
and last to raise the white flag
