If you have nothing to hide then what is there to worry about.

I used to think that way but when you have an Administration that is persecuting people on Political, social and religious beliefs it becomes pretty dangerous.

How about privacy? Constitutional rights? Freedom? Liberty?

How about protection from the savages who threaten us on a daily basis.

You can play Russian roulette with your freedoms but don't mistake your ignorance as a common good or accepted by others!

Thank goodness you're only one vote! I'm hoping for a future for my heirs!

I have no ignorance and I speak for myself, the forums are about opinions and I've given mine. How else do we stop terrorism if we can't spy on them.

We have other ways to spy and get intelligence on them. Oh wait..... Thanks to Obama we don't. We lost our advantage when enhanced interrogations went out the window and he went on his world wide apology tour and trying to close Gitmo.

While some worry thinking by spying on us they're catching these terrorists, why not worry about the real problems and issues of our govt training, funding and arming them?

U.S. Humanitarian Aid for Kurds, Going to ISIS Instead

An anonymous aid worker told The Daily Beast that “the convoys have to be approved by ISIS and you have to pay them: The bribes are disguised and itemized as transportation costs.”

This translates into ISIS putting more money towards war efforts, due to the fact that it does not have to worry about coming up with the money to provide as much for the civilians in the area it controls.

Yes i apologise. I do not know about your life. I should not have said it was boring.
But when you mean "us" then i still disagree with your statement.

No worries, I say things I shouldn't sometimes.

I just mean that governments have to spy on certain things. I don't believe for one minute that they should spy on just anyone, but if they think someone has links to terrorism then who cares if they get spied on, I certainly don't.

Although in thought, I would agree with you here, but they are NOT using it for terrorism. They are using it from everything to consumerism to framing and blacklisting people and harassment.

You are not immune over there in the UK, GCHQ is hooked in with the best of us.

Well if they are then that's plain wrong.
Yes I'm well aware of GCHQ. However, I'm not sure where they would find the time to spy on anyone except suspected terrorists. They can hardly keep up with them as it is.

They have thousands upon thousands of subcontractors to shuffle through the data. They "SAVE EVERYTHING". That is NO LIE. EVERYTHING.

What they can't get they put special bugs on, personally installed in LANS or stolen by people with thumb drives. You name it. They are tapped into all underwater fiber optics for all countries.

Not even going to get into the priority hardware and built into the software for all computer manufacturers.

Yes but what I don't get is why would anyone want to spy on me for instance. I do nothing except study and come on mingle for a few hours. What could they possibly gain from that

Point taken from everyone on this topic. Maybe I am little naive or too trusting.
Interesting thoughts I must say.

So anyways, this article for thread start is bunk. They have all the keys to decipher the major manufacturers already. They are only trying to stir consumerism on what is left of the electronic market for the dumb shiots that don't know better. They even know exactly your GPS when IN FLIGHT with Blackberry.

Suppose I should post at least one verifiable credit...if you can understand the jargon...

Are you saying the US is funding the ISIS to spark up wars? Makes sense

A lot of what we are seeing the Obama Administration doing is the exact same things Hitler and the NSDAP did to gain complete control of Germany.
