I need guys perspective about this (well, women's are welcome too)

So here's the thing... Do you really have to kneel when you propose to your girlfriend?

No. That's just tradition. Positions aren't a requirement for giving/accepting proposals.

I think so too. I guess it is an added gesture to make the proposal more romantic. love

At my age group the guys kneels only if I am strong enough to help him back up again :)lolol

The thought is what counts so if a man sits down and kind of leans forward in a kneeling "stance" that is fine.

But just tradition really.

Some guys have proposed while sky diving or in a roller coaster sooo. :)

It is sweet and it is romantic. But not 100% needed. :)

Hope that helps :)

Reminds me of Paul McCartney and Heather Mills.

I wonder if Sir Paul regrets going down on one knee.

Oops sorry - think about it

Isn't that the same thing as begging?

Kneeling is "sweet".... If they say "No!", you can always do an upper cut / punch them in their groins!
