Jess has some good thoughts on being single. I was married for 21 years and was more lonely than I am now that I'm single. I would rather be single than in another boring, loveless, sexless relationship. I won't settle for someone I can just live with. I want someone I can't live without.

be good to yourself, which may mean just doing as much as you can, every single day for yourself. being overweight does impact relationships and self-perception. it's not that hard to become more fit as soon as we start and see results. i'd say focus on friendships because a relationship is so much more than our physical selves. and i like to hope, too, that someone special will value me for what i represent :) |

i have to agree, i am happy with myself and if a guy cant see that, its there loose, just keep ur head up thats what i do
