Wondering souls
souls wondering lonely each and everyday
lonely and broken just making their way
then by chance two souls happen to meet
thru space and time is no easy feat
all the stars must have been just right
for wondering souls to meet that night
What brings them together they do not know
but the pull is strong so they just let go
and what was once a lost wondering soul
is once again found and then made whole
tired and beaten alone they can not survive
but together as one they feel so alive
what was once sadness is soon replaced
what was once bitterness is soon erased
they soon find passion they thought was lost
and their once cold hearts begin to defrost
the feelings they share soon begin to grow
and where they will lead they do not know
but if together these wondering souls unite
then two less souls will be alone tonight


for the one who inspired this poem i say thank you i have not forgotten you and never will.
