Topic: Your Most Vivid Dream | |
---|---|
I had this really vivid dream several years ago that I was riding on top of an old steam engine train. The sensation of the wind, the vibrant scenery of trees and the landscape seemed so real. Then as the train was rounding a bend I could see we were approaching a lake. As the train passed by I was compelled to leap into the air and suddenly I was flying! It was an amazing feeling of freedom. Then I soared over the surface of the water and had the urge to dive below and discovered that I could remain submerged without needing to breath and observed an underwater city. That was one of the most unique and thrilling experiences I've ever had.

the most vivid dream I had recently can't be posted.
the most vivid dream I can post is when my biological father passed away. in my dream I was pursued in various parts of my native Mexico by two guys I don't know. one was Martin and the other Pedro. they kept telling me details about my childhood that only someone from my life would know. (my father was never in my life). I asked what do you want from me. how do you know about me. they replied. we're your brothers. we were sent to tell you our father died and he's sorry. they said we know about you because your godmother talked to us about you when we asked her where to find you. this was a recurring dream I had until I asked my mom and when she looked into things, yes, my biological father had died. |

Intriguing dreamerana, my sympathy for the loss of your father. Fascinating how we can tune into other realms of existence in different states of consciousness. Thanks for sharing.

Planets.
I dream about flying from Planet to Planet. I can see them from my garden as well. Strange and a little freaky, a bit like myself |

One that I had started off with me looking at the TV and there was a movie on that looked like a western. It was a large screen TV and as I walked past it I found myself walking into the desert in the movie. Then I started to float or fly in the air and as I looked down at the ground everything looked minature and then I fell down to the ground and I was a giant, like in Gulliver's travels. I started to panic and I knew that I was dreaming and wanted to wake up, so I dug around in the sand and found a wire that I pulled on but that didn't work, so I tried to open my eyelids with my hands but I had some sort of goggles on and couldn't.

Strange and a little freaky, a bit like myself Franky, I remember commenting on a thread you posted a while back where you described similar dreams. I'm envious. I think it would be an incredible sensation flying through the cosmos. Checking out all of the spherical flotsam and assorted shaped jetsam floating in the energetic sea that is the space between things. Thanks for sharing. |

Maybe you should rethink falling asleep watching old movies on google glass Strat? Seriously though, I could visualize the scenes you described as I was reading, quite interesting. Thanks for sharing. Any thoughts on what may have caused that imagery to manifest? |

Well, to tell you the truth, I was having some problems with anxiety and had been taking valium for it and I had a lot of these lucid dreams when I was coming off the stuff. I was able to fly in a lot of them but I couldn't really control it or come down and I would get really dizzy when I was having these dreams.
I had also read Carlos Casteneda and he talks about how he learned "dreaming" from an old Yachi indian sorceror. The technique when starting to "set up dreaming" is to look at your hands when you're dreaming and I was doing that. Another dream that I had was my brother turning into a demon and wrestling with me to stop me from looking at my hands. |
